Hidden Parts of Sun Moon Lake

It was very lucky that we managed to visit the cool hidden parts in Sun Moon Lake before heading to Qing Jing (情境). Thanks to Jacky who always ensure us visited the important spots before we left. You might not reach the below places if you are traveling by public transport instead of hiring a driver.

This is the cupid god in Chinese version. We call it Yue Xia Lao Ren (月下老人), a minor divinity concerned about marriage or matchmaker.

Our trip-lead with the complex outlook of 'cupid' temple. Offerings to the god are simple as sweets, burning incense and joss papers will do.

Another big rock written with Sun Moon Lake (日月潭) standing in front of the awesome scenery. Noticed this area is less visited by tourists.

Making grimace to our photographer - Jacky......:D

Mr. Zhang Liengui is a legend of Sun Moon Lake. He is the master of 'Craft in Bottles'. Amazing as he uses small sticks or toothpicks to make artistic work inside the bottles without breaking them.

Marvelous piece of art made using cans.

Wow!!! Speechless!!!

o_O....He is so creative.....

First time eating banana with Chinese tea. The black dotted banana taste so bouncy & springy just like eating fish ball.

My piece of art as a souvenir to the respected late Mr. Zhang. :p

Spotted a eerie big spider. Scary!!!

Xiangshan Visitor Centre at Nantou (向山游客中心).

My typical post, i.e. drop dead.... :D

and I'm loving it.

'Hop' for a better tomorrow. ;)

Visited Puli (埔里) at the geographic centre of Taiwan as well. Famous of it's 4 'W's, i.e. Water, Wine, Women and Weather.
