The Green Green Grasslands

Before continue our visiting to Green Green Grasslands, we managed to stay a nite at Guan Xing Yuan guesthouse owned by Mr. Lee (李老板) and recommended by Jacky. It is located at an elevation of 2,089 km above the sea level with indescribable fantastic view. If the night weather is clear without midst, you are able to see a full of 'stary stary' sky like you can touch them from a close distance. Unfortunately, we are not lucky enough and not even manage to see the sunrise because of overslept reason. I would say it worth the money to stay as dinner and breakfast are provided free with awesome freshly foods.

Outlook of our guesthouse at Cingjing Veterans Farm.

Nice view of the small town below and its surrounding area.

Having our breakfast while enjoying the heaven view, felt like life is full of hope.

No more anorexia individual if breakfast is to be prepared such a way everyday. Make me drooling looking at this picture.

Tadaa!! This is the warm host of Guan Xing Yuan, Mr. Lee (李大哥), the owner. Mr. Lee and his wife are always ready to offer their help in your itinerary planning and they are very polite and friendly. :))

It is our pleasure as able to take photos with Mr. Lee.

Husky owned by Mr. Lee named Dubi (杜比). He is handsome isn't he?! ;))

Our next destination soon after breakfast is Green Green Grasslands (青青草原).

Green Green Grasslands is a beautiful countryside in Taiwan which you must visit if you ever stop at Cingjing Veterans Farm. It is a dreamy romance place suitable for young and old.

You can see herds of sheep grazing on this wide green pasture with the azure skies above, what a wonderful experience I can say.

Look at this vast gorgeous land really take away your stress and unhappiness.

Just like a piece of drawing art.

A close-up shot of the cute little sheep. We have to chase after the sheep in order to take photos with them. They are very shy and use to run away when we were just few steps away from them.

Groups of sheep roaming on the green hill slop as back drop.

Spotted some small maple trees around the farm.

They were many more hills in this region and we saw many more sheep feeding on grass all over the hills.

Travel-mates were very keen on that sole standing tree on the top of this hill.

An European style castle. Nice. ^^

I would suggest that Cingjing is a good place for weeding outdoor photo shoot.

Entrance to watch sheep shearing show and horse performance.

A cute sign board nailed forward a gorgeous mountains back ground.

Artsy group photo taken by our lovely 'mummy'.

Impressive windmill photo like those taken in Holland. ;)

Team-lead requested a photo shoot using my Nikon D3100. Result not bad rite... :p

Cingjing Veterans Farm

The Qingjing Veterans Farm (清境) is situated at Renai Township of Nantou County, central of Taiwan. Its altitude is at about 1,750.00 meters above the sea level giving it an average temperature of between 15℃ - 23℃. The farms produces various kinds of fruits inclusive peaches, pears, plums and kiwi fruits. Interesting places visited here were The Old England (老英格兰), Small Swiss Garden (小瑞士花园), Guan Xing Yuan (观星园) and Green Green Grass Land (青青草原).

The Old England under Shangrila brand is the most luxurious boutique hotel at Cingjing Veterens Farm. The building is built in a very authentic English style.

It is not our choice of accommodation as it is too pricey while we were on a budget trip. For those who interested may check on @ 老英格蘭莊園.

View from the street.

It gives you simply a nice shot from whatever angles of the building. It's a site to see if you ever stop here. For those who love photo-shooting, don't miss it!

This is the Cingjing Carton King branch (纸箱王) which lead you to The Small Swiss Garden. Most of the deco are made of hard-water-proof-carton including the white windmill. Impressive!

There will be a 7-Eleven convenient store located opposite of this Carton King shop.

Carton King Post Shop is selling many cute kinda postcards which you can post instantly to your friends & families abroad from here.

The Small Swiss Garden has been called 'Taiwan's Little Switzerland for its beautiful flowers and fantastic mountain scenery. It is a small yet enjoyable garden with the view takes one's breath away.

U can see many decorative windmills scattered around the garden.

Flowers, flowers and flowers again...hehehe!!

And pretty Leng in a 'sea of flowers'.

Look at this, another artsy windmill photo taken by me. :)

It is time to feed non-flying birds....;)

They are many attractive souvenirs shops near Small Swiss Garden which let u shop till u drop. U can notice they really put-in a lotsa effort in decorating their shops.

I love the big teddy. Hope can bring it home.

Taiwanese are dog lovers and their dogs are all from 'branded' species. This is Hachiko I guessed. The dog owner said he is very clever.

Schnauzer is my team-lead's favorite. They can be very energetic but are kinder and calmer type comparing others. Some say they are easier to train.

Hidden Parts of Sun Moon Lake

It was very lucky that we managed to visit the cool hidden parts in Sun Moon Lake before heading to Qing Jing (情境). Thanks to Jacky who always ensure us visited the important spots before we left. You might not reach the below places if you are traveling by public transport instead of hiring a driver.

This is the cupid god in Chinese version. We call it Yue Xia Lao Ren (月下老人), a minor divinity concerned about marriage or matchmaker.

Our trip-lead with the complex outlook of 'cupid' temple. Offerings to the god are simple as sweets, burning incense and joss papers will do.

Another big rock written with Sun Moon Lake (日月潭) standing in front of the awesome scenery. Noticed this area is less visited by tourists.

Making grimace to our photographer - Jacky......:D

Mr. Zhang Liengui is a legend of Sun Moon Lake. He is the master of 'Craft in Bottles'. Amazing as he uses small sticks or toothpicks to make artistic work inside the bottles without breaking them.

Marvelous piece of art made using cans.

Wow!!! Speechless!!!

o_O....He is so creative.....

First time eating banana with Chinese tea. The black dotted banana taste so bouncy & springy just like eating fish ball.

My piece of art as a souvenir to the respected late Mr. Zhang. :p

Spotted a eerie big spider. Scary!!!

Xiangshan Visitor Centre at Nantou (向山游客中心).

My typical post, i.e. drop dead.... :D

and I'm loving it.

'Hop' for a better tomorrow. ;)

Visited Puli (埔里) at the geographic centre of Taiwan as well. Famous of it's 4 'W's, i.e. Water, Wine, Women and Weather.
