Taiwan, September 2011 - Fengjia

Visited quite number of places in Asia,Taiwan is my favorite among them thus far. The country is beautiful, people are friendly and the language is spoken in a very polite manner. No doubt the foods are superb and it is a real shopping paradise with quality products. Our journey is further sparked with joy and laughter by knowing our tour guide named Hello Jacky. He is thereafter turns out to be our best friend in life. Will share my episodes with you via the followings posts and photos.

Our lovely guest house in Fengjia （逢甲）, Taichung.

Fengjia Night Market （逢甲夜市） is among the famous business district in Taichung. U can find trendiest stuffs here including small snacks which created in a very special way to attract customers.

If u were watching Jacky Wu Talk Show in August 2011 (Guess Guess Guess), u may know that there are 4 popular snacks u must not miss in Fengjia Night Market. This is one of them called soft shell prawn （懒惰虾 or 懒人虾）.

Saliva dripping. They are ready to eat after a quick barbecued cum sprinkled with some salts. It tastes sweet and fresh besides a bit salty.

Shopped till I drop. Things are selling cheaper in Taichung comparing Taipei. Fengjia Night Market is normally operated until 1.00 a.m. in the morning. Luckily it is not available for 24 hours, otherwise we will broke just for the 1st day in Taiwan. ;p

Travel-mates are looking cool on their respective sunglasses. Each of it was selling at about NTD: 150-200.

AhHaaa...this is another popular snack called Taiwandiao （台湾鲷）. It is made up of fish meats and fish organs but I will only rate it 5 if the top is 10.

7-11 of Taiwan. It is one of the amazing convenience store among the many countries I've visited other than the one in Korea and Hong Kong. 'Bento' is the food we love the most as it is cheap, variety and simply delicious.

You can even enjoy your food in the City Café prepared by them with quote: "The most awesome place in a city is....a place having 24 hours of stories. " ^^
